Dear friends,
The night continues to be a source of wonderment and fascination for composers and performers alike, a space for change and transformation. Our new album Through the Night (our 4th album on BIS Records since 2020) out on 27 October, delves deep into the subject with a series of works spanning 500 years - from Maddalena Casulana to Daniel Kidane.
Ahead of the release we’ll be performing some of this gorgeous music in Nottingham NEXT WEEK:
3 Oct at 7 PM - Nottingham Trent University's University Hall - Tickets
To give you a taste of what’s in store, have a listen to our first single from the album, Carlo Gesualdo’s Tristis est anima mea (brilliantly arranged for strings by Michi Wiancko). The track is currently No. 1 on Apple Music’s Sacred Sounds playlist.
Stay Tuned - Our second single Dido’s Lament by Henry Purcell (arr. Leopold Stokowski) drops on 13 Oct:
Collaboration with the BBC Singers:
We make our debut at the Barbican Centre’s Milton Court on 13 October in a new collaboration with the BBC Singers. Come experience great choral music by some of today’s most celebrated American and British composers:
13 Oct at 7:30 PM - Milton Court, London Tickets and Details
Stay Tuned - Details of our performances at the Night With… Festival in Glasgow on 14-15 Dec will be announced soon!
We couldn't have imagined a better launch to our 23/24 season than our show at the Wigmore Hall earlier this month with soprano Ruby Hughes. And having THREE composers from our programme with us in the room made it all the more special. Thank you to everyone who came along. You are a big part of what we do.

Whether in Belgium, Switzerland or the UK, come join us this season. We would love to welcome you to one of our concerts. (find all season info here)
